
Lesley Southwick-Trask
Lesley is a transformation anthropologist specializing in large scale systemic change. As a strategist, she has led large-scale transformational initiatives in over 500 organizations and communities where she has integrated evolutionary sciences with U Theory and systems change to create breakthrough pathways for regeneration. She is currently the co-lead of Bounce Beyond where she is leading deep systems transformation in a number of sectors and regions. Her ten years (2010 to 2020) hosting pilgrims from around the world at her hostel, regenerative farm, and intentional community (the Quinta Estrada Romana) on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago has richly infused the values and choices she makes in a world that is rapidly facing the collapse of major global systems. Accelerated transformation is her playing field. Lesley has authored of three books (Turning it Around was one of the top 5 business books in 1989) and the award recipient of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada (Women’s Executive Network with the Rotman School of Management (UoT)) in the categories of Entrepreneur and Trailblazer (lifetime recognition), Top 100 Women Business Owners in Canada (Profit Magazine) and one of the Top 50 CEO’s in Atlantic Canada (Atlantic Business Magazine.).
Her greatest joy is as a mother and grandmother. Her passion comes from ensuring that she is doing everything in her power to leave this world as socially just, equitable, ecologically healthy and economically flourishing as humanly possible. Her family continues to be her greatest source of inspiration, advocacy and activism.
